New Action Plan for the Spanish Film Industry

The Spanish Ministry of Culture presented a new Action Plan with the aim to improve the infrastructure of the whole film sector in Spain: i.e. development, production, distribution and exhibition.
The Plan stands for an important step: In 2006, the increment of the Cinematographic Protection Fund will be up to 64,5 Mio. Euros, (33 Mio. Euros in 2004).
Furthermore, a new innovative approach is given by the foundation of the Sociedad de Garantía Recíproca Audiovisual Aval S.G.R., represented by the ICAA and Egeda, with the objective to facilitate access to investment loans for the film industry.
