International Forum on Cultural Mediation

Culture pour tous is joining with the French organizations Espace Pandora and Médiation culturelle to present the next international forum on cultural mediation as part of the 22nd Entretiens put on by Frances Centre Jacques Cartier. On Monday, November 31 and Tuesday, December 1, 2009, some 50 guest speakers from Europe, North America and Africa will gather at the Théâtre Asphodèle in Lyons to present their latest projects and reflections.
In addition to the Culture pour tous representatives, the Quebec and Canadian delegation will include artists and cultural workers: the Acadians Jean-Pierre Caissie and René Cormier; Claude Schryer, of the Canada Council for the Arts Inter-Arts Office; Simon Brault, of Culture Montréal, Ville de Montréal Executive Committee member Catherine Sévigny; Michel Vallée, of the City of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield; and the sociologist Jean-Marie Lafortune and choreographer Pierre-Paul Savoie.
