CULTIVATING CREATIVE PARTNERSHIPS
Chamber Music Americas 2003 Education and Residency Institute
17-19 October
Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, Chicago, IL

A FORUM FOR EXCHANGING OUTREACH IDEAS, EXPERIENCES, AND TECHNIQUES FOR CHAMBER MUSIC AND JAZZ ENSEMBLES, PRESENTERS, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Chamber Music Americas 2003 Education and Residency Institute focuses on developing collaborations among performers, presenters, and community organizations. The weekend is designed to enhance the skills and expertise needed to create those partnerships that are crucial to successful educational and community engagement activities. Participants will learn how to clarify the goals and purposes of their educational collaborations, and will have opportunities to demonstrate their outreach programming and to network with colleagues. This is an ideal event for young ensembles, as well as presenters interested in developing and deepening their education efforts and community organizations wishing to explore options in chamber music or jazz.

If you work with young ensembles, music/educator professionals, or established ensembles looked to expand their residency work, please pass this information along to them.

CMA members receive low registration fees, and discounts on membership are available if you join when registering. Contact David Ezer at (212) 242-2022 x17 or dezer@chamber-music.org for more details. Registration deadline is Oct. 13, 2003.
