Pfizer Award for Emerging Arts Manager
The first winner of the Pfizer Award for Emerging Arts Managers is Kay Kanbayashi who is Executive Assistant and Project Co-ordinator at the Canadian Music Centre in Toronto. Kay is a graduate of the Arts Management Co-op Program at the University of Toronto at Scarborough.
The two accomplished runners up are Janice OBriain, an alumna of the York University MBA Program in Arts and Media Administration, currently General Manager of Kaleidoscope Theatre, and Alexandra Hatcher, an alumna of Grant MacEwan College employed as Director of the Musée Héritage St. Albert Museum.
Both the ACE Award and the Pfizer Award for Emerging Arts Managers will be presented at the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Cultural Executives which will be held on Friday November 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, 5040 Yonge Street. Everyone is welcome.
