Creative Europe: support programme for Europe's cultural and creative sectors from 2014

This is no breaking news anymore but nevertheless urgent: As of now on you can apply for Creative Europe programme!
European culture, cinema, television, music, literature, performing arts, heritage and related areas will benefit from increased support under the European Commission's new Creative Europe programme, which was approved by the European Parliament on 19 November and by the Council of the EU on 5 December 2013. With a budget of 1.46 billion over the next seven years 9% more than current levels the programme will provide a boost for the cultural and creative sectors, which are a major source of jobs and growth.

Of special interest to you might be the Culture sub-programme of Creative Europe which supports cultural and creative organisations with a view to helping them operate transnationally and promoting cross-border circulation of works of culture and mobility of cultural players. It helps to launch projects with a European dimension and to share cultural content across national, and European, borders; it enables cultural and creative players to work internationally and to internationalise their careers and activities in the EU and beyond; it funds cooperation projects, literary translations, networks and platforms.
All schemes have a new audience development dimension. The main novelty is the new support scheme for platforms, aiming at showcasing emerging talents and stimulating European non-national programming of cultural activities. More innovations will follow including a new Financial Instrument for the Creative sector.
All Calls for Proposals under Creative Europe are now online. Application deadlines can be found here: http://ec.europa.eu/culture/creative-europe/calls/index_en.htm
