The Star Performing Arts Centre in Singapore opens in November

Singapores newest, much-anticipated The Star Performing Arts Centre, featuring a 5,000 seat theatre will officially open in November 2012 with international concerts and exciting events!

Setting the stage as Singapores latest host for international calibre concerts, the venue will celebrate its official opening with a 3-day Opening Festival that will include concerts of HITMAN David Foster and Friends. Following last-years sold out shows, the 16-time Grammy Award winner will return with a star-studded line-up of Friends including Babyface, Chaka Khan and Hayley Westenra. Alongside the concerts, the Festival will commence with a Red Carpet and Gala Dinner with invited guests. There will also be a Family Open Day featuring appearances by Nickelodeon characters, local dance groups and diverse music acts to engage with the local community and reinforce the role that the new centre will play as a fundamental feature of Singapores burgeoning arts and entertainment markets.
